Each month one of our team will inspire you with a little tutorial, tip or trick to help you in your scrapbooking pursuits.
These are a great way to use your scraps and make
embellishments to match your pages.
Punch out 2 X 2in. circles from double sided co-ordinating paper. One side you won’t see as that will be at the bottom.
2.
Ink edges.
3.
Fold down the top of the circle on all 4 sides.
4.
Place one inside the other.
Turn to form a triangle, and attach to page.
5. Add a button or small embellishment for the
centre. Can also be used for a title.
6.
Here’s a layout I prepared earlier! With a close-up
of the embellishments.
As you can see they work well with vintage,
but made with bright colours they look great on modern pages, especially
children's layouts. You can also use them as squares.
I do hope you try these, and make good use of
your scraps!
Don't forget to have your entry in for our challenge this month. Some lovely prizes on offer - one prize by vote, another completely by random draw and a guest designer spot with RAK to offer one lucky entrant. You have until 11.55 on the final day of the month to have your submission linked.
What a simple and effective technique - I love the dimension it creates (not to mention, great use of scraps!) Nice one Regina :)
